By choosing the Scottish Spina Bifida Association as your Charity of the Year this will impact positively on your business by inspiring and motivating your staff but also on your stakeholders and customers as you demonstrate your commitment to the community in which you work.

In order to maximise the publicity of nominating the Association as your Charity of the Year we can offer media and PR support if necessary.

Employee Fundraising

Throughout the year the Scottish Spina Bifida Association are involved with many Sponsored Challenge Events ranging from diving with sharks and abseiling to Climbing Kilimanjaro. These are perfect events for individuals or to be undertaken by groups of individuals.

There are also other, simpler, ways in which employees can get involved:

Office collections - Place a collection box or our Gordon Ramsay Appeal Swear Box in your Office or Reception

Dress Down/Theme Days - Employees pay to dress casually or in a specific theme such as Halloween, Easter or Wimbledon

Sale of SSBA Grand Raffle Tickets & Christmas Cards

Coffee Mornings or Lunch Time Cake Sales

5-a-side football games - Start a tournament with all money raised from entry fees being donated

Many companies also choose to donate any money raised at an annual ball or special company event
