Cumbernauld 10K, 1K/3K & Victory Mile
Sunday 21st September 2014
Cumbernauld 10k - 11.00am
Building on the success of last year the 10k returns to Cumbernauld on Sunday the 21st of September 2014. Starting in Broadwood Stadium the run will take participants through the beautiful Cumbernauld scenery and provides the perfect opportunity to test your marathon skills whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete amateur!
Cumbernauld Children's 1k - 10.00am
The Childrens 1k run offers children in Primary 5, 6 or 7 the chance to join in on the fun and glory of the 10k without the distance! This is one of the best routes for aspiring runners as it gives them the chance to try out their running on a flat surface without having to worry about climbing hills.
Cumbernauld Children's 3k - 11.05am
The 3k run is for children in Seconday school years S1 to S4 and allows runners in this age bracket the opportunity to try out a longer distance and hone their technique before moving on to the full 10k!
Victory Mile - 11:05am
Yet again the Victory Mile was another huge success. Taking place alongside the 1K, 3K and 10K race, this is an ideal opportunity for those who would embrace the challenge of completing 1 mile and achieving their own personal goal be it by walking, rolling or strolling.
For people with conditions requiring a carer to accompany them, the carer goes free.

Bring your family and friends along to cheer you on. As well as the race and fun run, there will be face painting, tri golf, a climbing wall and much more - fun and activities for all!
