Peterhead Running Festival

We are pleased to announce that the Peterhead Running Festival has chosen The Scottish Spina Bifida Association, as one of their nominated charities.

If you have been keeping up to date with the Association over the past couple of months, you will know about our Fitness 100 Club - We are looking for 100 people to take part in raising a minimum of £100 throughout the year by taking part in different sponsored activities whilst getting fit!

In order to kick start your Fitness 100 goal – why not get involved with the Peterhead Running Festival on 30th June at Catto Park Playing Fields and Running Tracks.

Here are a few suggestions to get you going…

Peterhead Half Marathon

  • For those of you who are up for a challenge, why not take part in the half marathon?
  • The run starts at 11.30am.

5K Run, Jog or Walk
  • If the thought of a half marathon is too daunting, why not sign up for the 5k instead?
  • This event starts at 11.45am.

Peterhead Jogscotland, in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council and Peterhead Football Club, hope to build on the success of last year's Festival which attracted over 700 participants.

With the valued support from Shell as the main sponsor for the third year running, the Peterhead Running Festival are delighted to announce the Shell School Fun Runs as a fantastic addition to the festival.

Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to get photographed with your favourite players from Peterhead Football Club and grab yourself a bargain at the fabulous stalls available on the day. In addition, the first 50 people who join Fitness 100 will gain free entry to the festival!

Proceeds from the day will be donated to the nominated charities - so show your support and get involved today!
