Run, Jog or Walk - It's up to you!
The Big 5K Fun Runs
All of the runs are 5 Kilometers in length and are open to Men, Women and Children of all ages. Children under 13 can enter but must WALK the course and be accompanied by a paying adult. You can enter as an individual or as part of a family or team from your office or sports club.
Individuals will only be able to take part if they agree to raise money for a chosen charity. The Big Fun Run suggested minimum fundraising target is £50 per person. All Big Fun Runners will receive a 'Big Fun Run' Medal and a Goodie Bag.

Stirling - Saturday 10th July 2010 - Plean Country Park The run starts and finishes by the walled garden. A feature of the Country Park is the ancient Plean House that is now only a shell but still imposing none the less. The beautiful estate is a mixture of woodlands, wildflower meadows and ponds and the course takes full advantage of this variety. Throughout the run there are mixed grade pathways.
Aberdeen - Sunday 11th July 2010- Hazelhead Park

Dundee - Saturday 17th July 2010 - Camperdown Park The run starts and finishes in front of Camperdown House. The neo-classical House was built in 1828 and provides a superb backdrop for runners and spectators. The course takes advantage of the mixed pathways that weave around a park that boasts no fewer than 190 different species of trees. The majority of the route is along flat ground
Perth - Sunday 18th July 2010- North Insh Park
The run starts and finishes with a lap at the George Duncan Athletics Arena that provides a grandstand finish for runners and spectators. The majority of the course however involves a loop of the North Inch, Perth's premier park. Here the route runs by the River Tay and through tree lined boulevards. The route is flat throughout.
Glasgow - Saturday 24th July 2010- Bellahouston Park Bellahouston Park is a huge park (175 Acres) and has many features and facilities to tempt visitors and local residents to its grounds. It boasts The Walled Garden with its fine collection of ferns and daffodils. The House for the Art lover also has a less formal garden consisting of mixed shrubs and herbaceous borders. Other facilities are a 18 Hole Pitch and Putt Course, Cycling Activity Centre, Two Bowling Greens and much, much more.
Edinburgh - Sunday 25th July 2010- Holyrood Park
Holyrood Park is a unique historic landscape in the heart of the city, whose dramatic geology is World reknowned. The Park also boasts a wealth of history and archaeology spanning thousands of years. The 5km course will take you round the Holyrood Park and the 350 million year old Arthur's Seat. The route gives fantastic views of Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
