Rebecca Cottage (Continued)

What's on Offer?

The accommodation is fully adapted for wheelchair use.  On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms (one double room and one twin room), a large bathroom and shower area and a separate toilet.  On the same level, there is a comfortable living room and kitchen which is light and airy with ample work surfaces and cooking facilities. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms (one single and one twin room) and a toilet.

To the front of the cottage, there is a double-glazed, fully enclosed sun porch with a superb view of the Tay Coast and the local beach.  There is also a private parking bay adjacent to the cottage which allows direct and unrestricted access to the cottage for wheelchair users.

The cottage is fully carpeted throughout and has a Gas Central Heating System with radiators in all rooms and, through a high efficiency combi-boiler, is able to supply constant hot water, even when residents require the use of frequent baths.  The cottage is double-glazed throughout and improvements have been made to the door entry system making it more secure and easier for the residents to use.

The cottage is regularly maintained and the Association always actively considers improvements suggested by residents.

Safety is a high priority within the cottage and residents can sleep in comfort with the knowledge that the whole building is constantly monitored for fire and smoke.  This is done by means of a 24-hour mains supplied smoke detector system which triggers all detectors in the event of an alarm condition at one of the four units.
