Students ‘cheque’ in to college

A group of four administration IT students are bringing just that little bit extra back to college for the start of the new term.

Cheryl Adam and her classmates Andrew Lorimer, Leanne Fotheringham and Louise Martin, have a £260 to present to the Scottish Spina Bifida Association thanks to project work that they undertook during their NQ course before the summer break.

“As part of the course, we had to split into groups and undertake some form of community exercise,” explains Cheryl.

“Our group chose to raise cash for the Scottish Spina Bifida Association because I was born with the condition.”

The group undertook a sponsored walk across the Tay Road Bridge to raise the cash.

The students are back in college today, Friday, August 3, for induction to their new programme – HNC  administration and information technology.
