St Andrew's Day Gala Dinner

 

The Great Hall, Stirling Castle
26th November 2007

 

 

 

 

 

On the 26th November, Scottish born, multi Michelin Star and BAFTA award winning international chef, Gordon Ramsay OBE, made history as he hosted his first ever St Andrew's Day Gala Dinner, with his wife Tana, in aid of the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.

 

The evening was a huge success and raised a staggering £135k for the Association.

 

The evening began with a champagne reception in the Chapel Royal, followed by a 4 course dinner in the historic Great Hall. Throughout the evening Guests were entertained by Ronnie Corbett OBE, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, a Diamond Gala Draw, Money Can't Buy Auction, Falconry Display and a spectacular Beat the Retreat.

 This memorable evening was completed with a traditional Beat the Retreat down to the castle gates.

 

 

 

 

 

We are extremely grateful to Gordon and Tana Ramsay, Ronnie Corbett and all the table hosts and guests for making this such a spectacular evening.


The entire evening was especially created by the Scottish Spina Bifida Association to raise funds for their Family Support Centre in Cumbernauld and is supported in full by the Charity's Patron, Gordon Ramsay OBE.
